Pixi Pop is now playable in your browser

Back in February 2018 we announced that Pixi Pop was out. It was our first official game, and to play it, you had to download it from the Play Store. Those days are over. Pixi Pop has been ported to the web and now runs directly in your browser.

Apart from the move to the browser, the game itself is untouched, so it still has the same retro feel. The same magical forest, the same challenging bosses, the same skills waiting to be unlocked. And yes, you can still freeze time to shoot in super slo-mo, and blast your enemies off the screen with your burst attack. The only real difference is where it runs and how you get started. One click, and you're popping.

The difficulty hasn't changed either. For those who don't know the game: in Pixi Pop, you play a Pixi, a little hero who has to save the forest, and you fail a stage as soon as you get hit. That's it. One hit, and it's game over. Luckily, there are skills and essences to help you out. Essences are power-ups. A life essence, for example, lets you take one extra hit. And we think having to put in a little effort to finish a stage is what makes this game so much fun. We hope you like it!

The browser version works on your computer as well as on your phone or tablet. On a computer you click, on a touchscreen you tap. Tap anywhere to shoot, tap your Pixi to freeze time, and tap and hold to charge your burst attack. Want the forest to fill your whole screen? Hit the full-screen button above the game, and nothing will distract you from the next wave of enemies.

In short, here's what you get:

• All 11 stages - From your first steps in the forest to the very last boss, with 33 stars to collect along the way.
• Your progress is saved - It's stored right in the browser you play in, so you can pick up where you left off. Just keep in mind that it doesn't carry over to other browsers or devices, and that clearing your browser data erases it too.
• Free to play - No ads, and nothing to buy with real money. The in-game shop only takes pixi dust, which you earn by playing.
• No download, no account - Open the game in your browser and start playing.
