It has been more than a year since the last news article came out, so it's about time to post something new. A lot of work has been done on the tutorials and even Pixi Pop got an update, but somehow the news section didn't get a lot of attention. It's time to change that and give you guys an update!
First of all, as mentioned above, the tutorials all got mayor updates over the last few months. We've tried to create pieces that actually help you in creating a game of your own. Most articles have live coding examples now and a lot of images and links have been added. Compared to a year ago, the number of visitors is much much higher now. Spicy Yoghurt is actually becoming a thing and we like to thank you guys for your support!
A bit later, Pixi Pop got a small update. There was a bug playing up that caused the frame rate to drop when playing on large screens. It's fixed now and the game is working much smoother. Opening the game files actually got the team pretty excited to do some work on the game again. So, you might hear more about a new game update in the near future.
Because of pretty obvious viral reasons, the full Spicy Yoghurt staff has been locked up at home lately. It's a bit of a bummer to cancel every social activity, but on the bright side, there's a ton of spare time. There are plans to create some new artwork, work on the website and maybe even implement some little changes to Pixi Pop.
Well, that's about it. It took a virus outbreak to post a new article. Let's hope we don't need a zombie apocalypse to post the next one. See ya!
